Our Wedding Day

It's been a very very long time since I last posted here.. and I believe I owe it to you guys to complete this blog and share with you events on our wedding day. I'll share here just a few pics and you can view our wedding SDE at the end of this post. Thanks to dexlabrador's request that I was encouraged to complete this blog. I'll try to post our suppliers rating in a different post though.

It's been more than a year now from that very special day in our lives and it's still as if it only happened yesterday (^_^)

Our wedding was held at 04:00pm but everyone was already busy from 06:00am. I'm still proud to say up to this moment that most of our wedding decorations and set up were products of love and DIY.

Here's our ceremony area being prepared by my brother and our friends:

on the left side is where the cocktail area is which is over-looking the sea
And here's the reception area after the tables have been placed:

i loved how the combination of colors made the place look chic

(on the left) tea cups and saucer souvenirs with raspberry tea in a DIY teabag (on the right) our DIY wine cork table number

presedential tables and my wedding gown by Jose Domingo. behind is the couples table without the backdrop set up yet

couples table at night with mood lighting and wedding cake by CVJ catering

Here's the cocktail area where we hung some of our travel pictures. Most of the pics by the way were taken as souvenirs by our friends (without our consent!) but it's ok (^_^)

our DIY's in action at the cocktail area

We prayed for good weather that day as it is an outdoor wedding, and indeed we had a warm day.

walkway towards the ceremony area. and yes.. this is where i had my bridal walk

And while everyone is busy outside.. the bride is already preparing (^_^)

And here's a few more pics:

and me (^_^) the glowing bride

Timeline Events Management team covered the view of me from below by a piece of large cloth. It created a nice dramatic effect as they put down the cloth only when I was already at the top of the walkway where everyone can already see me.
